Art in the Market for Western Heads East

Art Sale and Silent Auction - March 19, 2014, 4:00- 6:30 pm

The Great Hall at Western University will be transformed into a lively East African market, featuring an art sale that will showcase local talent as well as Tanzanian and Kenyan crafters.

All proceeds from the event will go to Western Heads East - Western University’s community engagement with African partners to address HIV/AIDS, health and global development. Western Heads East interns will share their experiences and African dignitaries will be in attendance. The evening will also include food and wine pairings, entertainment, multimedia presentations, a silent auction and a raffle featuring wonderful packages by generous sponsors including VIA Rail, The Fairmont Royal York and Toronto International Film Festival. Join us for a wonderful evening and support a great cause.

Tickets: $50 VIP (includes early entry art sale preview @ 3:30pm) | $40 general admission | $20 students
