What are the 2025 CBIE International Student & Alumni Surveys?

The 2025 CBIE International Student and Alumni Surveys (launched in October 2025) are being conducted at institutions across Canada and give current students as well as recent graduates the opportunity to provide important feedback and suggestions about their educational experience. Complete the survey before November 26 for a chance to win $1000.

How can I participate?

Vist the following link for Western University: https://surveys.cbie.ca/s3/ISS2025-WesternUniversity

What does the survey cover?

The survey questions ask about your experiences as an international student at Western and in Canada, from pre-arrival throughout your studies - including academics, housing, health and wellness supports and much more.

Who is eligible to participate?

  • All current full-time and part-time international* undergraduate and graduate students on Western’s main campus
  • International students at Western Continuing Studies
  • International alumni who graduated in the past four years

Please note: international students enrolled at Huron or King’s, visiting research students and exchange students are not included in the survey.

Why is Western doing this survey?

Western recognizes the significant investment you have made in your studies and we value your opinion. This is your chance to tell us how we can improve services and support for current and future students.

Is my feedback confidential?

Yes. Your data and email will remain strictly confidential. You will only be contacted by CBIE if your email is randomly selected in the draw (option at the end of the survey).

How long does the survey take?

The survey takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
